These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Nurcareer Limited ("Nurcareer", "we", "us") and govern your use of our website, apps and services (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Services you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter this agreement. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
- One person, one account. Sharing accounts is prohibited.
- Notify us immediately at security@nurcareer.com of any unauthorised access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
- Reverse engineer, scrape or copy the Services beyond fair use.
- Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the Services.
- Harass, intimidate or abuse mentors, mentees or staff.
- Resell access or content without our written permission.
4. Mentor relationships
Mentors are independent professionals, not employees of Nurcareer. Mentor advice is for educational purposes and does not constitute legal, medical, financial or professional advice. We vet mentors but cannot guarantee specific career outcomes.
5. Payments & refunds
- Subscription fees are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled.
- One-time courses are non-refundable after 14 days unless required by law.
- Mentorship has a 14-day satisfaction guarantee from your first paid session.
- We may change pricing with 30 days' notice; existing terms apply until your next renewal.
6. Content & intellectual property
All Nurcareer course content, branding and platform code is owned by Nurcareer or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to access purchased content for personal learning.
When you upload content (submissions, comments, profile data) you grant Nurcareer a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display it for the purpose of providing the Services. You retain ownership of your work.
7. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to other users. Upon termination, certain provisions (IP, liability, governing law) survive.
8. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nurcareer's total liability to you for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos, Nigeria, except where local law requires otherwise.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
